Forfexala kiarae

Forfexala kiarae represents an extinct genus of dragonfly that flourished during the Carboniferous period. Its distinctive features included an impressive wingspan reaching up to 38 cm, a size that far surpasses most present-day dragonfly species.

Renowned for its vibrant coloration, Forfexala kiarae exhibited a stunning palette that made it one of the more visually captivating creatures of its time. This species’ beauty and uniqueness underscore the incredible diversity of life that once populated our planet during the Carboniferous period.

Our scientifically accurate model, designed for the Natural History Museum in Osnabrück, is a detailed reproduction of Forfexala kiarae. Through careful craftsmanship and adherence to historical and scientific data, we have brought this long-extinct dragonfly back to life, providing a fascinating and educational experience for museum visitors.
